Seattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny will join 39 other top rookies from the 2018 NFL Draft in Los Angeles this week for the 24th annual NFL Players Association (NFLPA) Rookie Premiere presented by Panini America.
During the four-day event, the rookies will “learn the business of football” and get a head start on marketing and their off-the-field careers.
The first major marketing event following the draft, the NFLPA Rookie Premiere fosters connections and assists players in the development of their personal brands. The NFLPA also offers an orientation to introduce union’s programs and services.
“NFLPA Rookie Premiere is the best opportunity for our partners to engage early on with the next wave of marketable young stars entering the league,” said Ahmad Nassar, President of NFL Players Inc., in the press release.
“Beyond providing a platform to learn about the business of football and benefits of their union as they plan for their new careers, Rookie Premiere allows players to showcase their personalities so that we can use that insight to connect the right players with the right brands to advance their stories and campaigns.”
Over 30 NFLPA business partners – including Bose, Bud Light, FedEx, Gatorade, Pepsi, and Pizza Hut – will be on hand to get their first shot at the highly-marketable rookies.
