Legendary USC Football DB/WR/KR/PR quietly having another great year

Former USC Football DB/WR/KR/PR Adoree' Jackson played winning football with the Trojans. He did ALL he needed to do in order to win the Trojans a Rose Bowl. No matter what it was, he was going to do it and do it at a high level.

He's the same swiss army knife who picked off five passes in his last season at SC, when he won the Rose Bowl, while also contributing 127 yards on offense and running four kicks back for touchdowns in the same season (two were punts and two were kickoffs).

He may not be that three-way player in the NFL today (although he more or less was early in his pro career), but he's still contributing to winning in a significant manner this season for the New York Giants. The Giants are 6-2 and are tied for the third-best record in NFC.

While everyone's focused on franchise running back Saquon Barkley and Head Coach Brian Daboll with the G-Men (and rightfully so), it's important to give Jackson his flowers as well. He deserves it, as he's already racked up 43 tackles on the year. That means he's on pace for 91 tackles on the season, which would be a career-high for the cornerback.

Ex-USC Football Consensus All-American Adoree' Jackson is also on pace for a career high in tackles for loss (four).

Adoree' Jackson won PAC-12 Defensive Player of the Year in that Rose Bowl-winning season with the USC Football program, and is still breaking up everything that comes his way in the League. In that Rose Bowl season for Jackson, he broke up 11 passes. This year, he's on pace for 10.6.

He's clearly performing at a very high level for the Giants, and even both forced and recovered a fumble for New York in their last game. He's now recovered two fumbles on the season, and is absolutely part of why Big Blue is the No. 2 Wild Card team in the NFC playoff picture right now.

He should feast in his upcoming game against the Houston Texans, as he's coming off of a performance where he held former Pro Bowl WR DK Metcalf to just 55 yards in his last game before the bye week this past week.
